Engineering Challenge
Expansive glazing, long roof overhangs, varying roof heights, and limited solid wall areas required careful structural coordination while maintaining the home's open indoor-outdoor design.

The structural system was designed to accommodate the large openings and roof spans while providing the required gravity and seismic resistance. Structural elements were integrated within the architectural design to preserve the clean roof lines, expansive glazing, and open living spaces.
